Our disability services team offers a number of accommodations to make our events as accessible as possible. Please see the rest of this page for details on the specific services offered. If you have any questions, feedback, or suggestions about how we can improve your experience, please reach out to us at contact@ncanthrosociety.org.

Registration

Our registration page contains a field where you can notify us of any special accommodations that would make the event easier for you! While optional, we appreciate you taking the time to fill in any details you are comfortable sharing to help our team be better prepared for the event. In particular, we suggest notifying us if:

  • You would need assistance evacuating from the hotel in a situation where the elevators are non functioning or otherwise unavailable.

  • You plan to have a service animal on site.

  • You have any mobility, physical, hearing, cognitive, psychological, or other type of disability that may not be visible AND would like to receive an ADA sticker on your badge to indicate to our staff members that you may need assistance.

If you receive an ADA sticker, please note that stickers are for the use of one individual only. They cannot be redistributed, resold, or reallocated. Failure to comply may result in termination of your membership and the inability to attend future events.

Seating

We will have priority seating in our event rooms for members with disabilities. Priority seating is available on a first come, first served basis and we cannot guarantee seating for everyone. Members with disabilities should plan to arrive at the event early so that we can best accommodate you. Additional seating will be placed in waiting areas (lines) for events and panels.

Low Stimulation Room

CFF is proud to provide a quiet room / low stimulation room. This space is located directly across from Main Events in "Meeting Room 4"
